Coral is originally from Penzance, Cornwall, but has lived on a boat which is moored to an island on the Norfolk Broads for the last decade.
A real nature lover, she takes inspiration from the native flora and fauna of the British Isles, some of which swims right past her window as she’s doing the washing up. She is also a keen mudlarker and history hunter, scouring the foreshore and digging up her garden for artefacts.
Lore, legend, local myths and a love of a clear night sky all feature in her works, which are mainly watercolour, pen and ink-based with a little embroidery thrown in for good measure.
When she’s not being an artist, Coral can usually be found pottering about in the island garden, researching her latest historical find, or experiencing an existential crisis.
